Online visa application form

  • The online application form can be filled in at a time of convenience with additions introduced at a later stage. The filled application form, can be corrected or erased by entering the number of the application form and the security code at the following internet address: https://epak.pmlp.gov.lv/NVIS.EService001.WebSite/ApplicationInquiryLogin.aspx. You will receive the number of your application form and the security code after filling in the online form. You can also save your application on your computer or a data carrier and print it out later.
  • Instructions on filling in the online application form can be found by clicking on the question mark icon in the upper-right corner of the page.
  • Fill in all the fields marked with a red asterisk *. If these fields are not filled, you will not be able to complete your application.
  • The online application form must be filled in by using Latin characters.
  • When choosing the mission at which to submit one’s documents, the established territorial competence of missions should be taken into account.
  • Print out and sign the completed application form. Submit the print-out and the rest of the supporting documents. The procedure for submitting documents for a Schengen visa can be found on the website of concerned diplomatic or consular mission. The consular officer may request additional documents upon submission.

  • Foreign national legally residing in Latvia can apply for a National visa (D- type visa) not later than 3 days before expiry of legal residence in Latvia. Application can be lodged at any local desk of the Office of Citizenship and migration Affairs of Latvia here.
  • If the submitted application form is incomplete or contains false information, the visa may be refused.
